Leadership Workshop: The Wisdom of Polarities in Everyday Life

  • Benesch Law 127 Public Square Cleveland, OH, 44114 United States (map)

POSTPONED! More details TBD

AIA and ULI Cleveland Chapters have partnered to bring to our members and the NE Ohio Community a one-of-a-kind Workshop with the Founder, CEO and C-Suite Executive Coach Kinetic Insights and Chair of Gestalt Institute of Cleveland Coaching Certification Program, Gail Froelicher.

Not all situations are problems to solve. Some situations are much more complex where you need to see truth and wisdom around 2 competing wants.

The concept of managing polarities is incredibly valuable for navigating complex situations where there are competing priorities. Some common situations with competing priorities are propagating your vision for the future and completing tasks toward quarterly objectives, spending time with family and completing all work projects, taking care of myself and supporting my team, or healthy eating and eating comfort food.

After a didactic on what constitutes the polarity approach and understanding how utilizing polarity methodologies to manage competing priorities can be healthy, participants will use real life experiences to help each other apply polarity concepts to real situations.

Learn how to use polarity thinking to more easily manage big, complex situations without overwhelm. Learn how polarities help you better navigate unavoidable patterns of competing priorities in your everyday work and personal life.

EVENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Attendees will be able to recognize and identify competing wants in their work and personal lives.

  2. Attendees will learn and discuss how using a polarity approach to address competing wants is healthy and brings new awareness to their thinking.

  3. Attendees will assess for themselves what competing priorities are most present for them right now.

  4. Attendees will attend small groups to experience the here and now using the polarity approach to manage their own competing priorities.
