Lunch & Learn: Introduction to Cultural Resources Management

Learning Objectives: This course provides a general overview of the field of cultural resources management, including: an introduction to cultural resources laws, discussion of both archaeological sites and historic properties, and the role of the National Register of Historic Places. 

At the end of this program participants will:

  • Have a basic understanding of cultural resources management.

  • Be more able to anticipate when cultural resources will impact a project.

  • Have a better understanding of project scopes when cultural work is requested by a client or regulatory agency.

  • Become familiar with the National Register of Historic Places.
