Italian Cleveland

This tells the story of Joseph Carabelli, the Italian immigrants who settled the neighborhood, and their descendants through what they designed and built.  It starts at the former site of Joseph Carabelli’s Lakeview Granite & Monumental Works, the impetus for the creation of the neighborhood.  It then works its way up the hill through the cemetery and back down the hill again along Mayfield Road identifying buildings, cultural spaces and sculpture that are important to Cleveland’s Italian American community and highlights their contribution to the city and the United States.  Click the link below to print your guide and let’s get exploring!
