A healthy business is crucial to the implementation of impactful design and the growth of the architecture profession. Many architects and designers find the business portion of the profession challenging to navigate, having not learned business specific skills while in school.
This second session will be a panel discussion among leaders of three local firms and will examine the evolution of their firms with an emphasis on succession and growth planning. IKM will discuss their expansion into a new market, Bowen+ will lead attendees through their transition to an Employee Stock Ownership Model, and Perspectus will discuss their approach to deliberate and long-term succession planning.
