Building Education Series 2024 The Value of our Water Resources in NE Ohio

Water is our planet's most treasured resource. From our Great Lake to our wastewater, our panel of speakers are local experts working to address our region's water management. We'll discuss our responsibility to protect Northeast Ohio's invaluable water resources, and detail the ways in which these organizations are establishing our region as a freshwater capital of the world. You'll learn about the extensive best-in-class research and innovation happening here to address global freshwater issues such as harmful algal blooms, stormwater management, and emerging contaminants. Equitable access to clean water is imperative.

Water plays a critical role in our regional economy, recreation opportunities, quality of life, and public health. The water economy is also one of the nation's fastest-growing sectors.  Learn how a local school is preparing the next generation to steward our water resources, providing maritime education and a foundation for future career paths.
