Building Education Series 2022: Green New Deal

  • This is an online event (map)

Our speakers will address the newly passed Inflation Reduction Act and what this will mean for commercial real estate and for Ohio.  Our discussion will tie together the IRA, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and how they create a climate infrastructure package to address the critical climate emergency we face. We must act globally to address our serious climate issues but in this session we will discuss the role of climate policy on all levels - locally, statewide, nationally and globally. We will also review Ithaca, NY's Green New Deal - a bold initiative to transform the entire city to be carbon neutral. You'll learn how they are executing their innovative plan and how other cities can replicate the process.
