In Architecture school we were told to always carry a sketchbook to be able to document notes, ideas and sketching opportunities. As we moved from student to practicing professional, the idea of sketching is a distant memory. It takes a back seat to pending deadlines, Revit drawing coordination, and even family. KSU’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative and AIA Cleveland have teamed up to bring you Sketch & Sip, the Cleveland Edition.

This is an opportunity to experience one of the best rooftops in the city while capturing the skyline of our beautiful city of Cleveland Ohio through sketching! Light snacks and beverages will be provided along with a mini sketchbook to commemorate the event. There will be a cash bar available for adult beverages.

You are welcome to bring your own sketchbook and utensils you prefer to sketch with: pencils, pens, markers, watercolor, etc. There will also be an opportunity to win a great prize if you’re willing to display your finished sketch for a light competition! Come out and enjoy our last days of summer at our Sketch & Sip. We hope to see you there!
