Building Education Series 2022

We will explore the decarbonization impacts of electrification of commercial buildings

About this event

This session will take a close look at why electrification will be a necessary component to decarbonizing the commercial built environment. Our speakers will address both the short and long term impacts and how we can approach electrification in a smart and equitable manner. There are a number of considerations that our panel will discuss such as grid impacts, providing clean electricity, policy, code, and economics. We will also hear about a number of exemplary case studies of electric buildings both here in Cleveland and across the state. We will leave ample time for Q&A and open discussion.
