A Hard Hat Tour of TREO, the newest apartment building on W. 25th Street. The building includes 7 stories, 171 total units, and a 2-story secure parking garage. Premium amenities of the building include a rooftop terrace with unobstructed views of the Cleveland skyline, in-house fitness center, private landscaped courtyard, co-work lounge, and bike storage for 90 bicycles.
This HHT will cover safety issues related to construction a seven story building on a tight urban site as well as construction techniques used in timber construction.
Parking is either at Porco’s Lounge or across the street on Swift, Fillmore, W. 26th, and West 27th.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will explore the architectural design features and methods used to achieve a unique luxury living experience that brings a bit of Chicago to Cleveland and bridges the Ohio City and Tremont neighborhoods. This includes resident amenities, cabinetry, fitness center, balconies, keyless entry systems, garage murals, retail space, and unique ACM panel and brick exterior.
Attendees will discuss the benefits and challenges associated with timber construction that allow for a quick build, easy detailing, as well as fire detailing.
Attendees will learn about working with the City of Cleveland and the coordination required to accomplish the extension of an existing City street.
