This is a hard hat tour. Per AIA Cleveland’s In-Person Meeting Policy and COVID-19 protocols, participants must wear a face mask at all times and practice social distancing rules. 

This will be a mid-construction hard-hat tour of the Cleveland Foundation’s new headquarters in the MidTown neighborhood of Cleveland. The new headquarters will be located in the heart of the Innovation District, linking downtown and University Circle while also strengthening existing connections along East 66th Street. The project helps bring to life the vision for the district, with engagement from community members and community stakeholders throughout the process. Sustainable and universal design features were incorporated into the design, helping to create a just, equitable and inclusive community space. 

This hard hat tour will highlight the unique challenges presented by the use of timber framing and the implementation of universal and sustainable design features.

Participants will be required to wear the following PPE:

Neon Vests
Hard Hats
Safety Glasses
Gloves
Pants
Flat, hard soled shoes (no heels or tennis shoes)
