Join AIA Cleveland’s Young Architects and Associate Members (YAAM) Committee as we partner with the Women In Architecture+ (WIA+) Committee for an evening of light-hearted discussion about self-perception, expertise, and how we are all a little bit incompetent!
The theme for the evening is learning to recognize and acknowledge our own inability to see our shortcomings or strengths, also known as the Dunning-Kruger effect. We’ll watch a short video then break into small groups for discussion spurred by a few key prompts and takeaways. Afterwards, the groups will come back together for a larger discussion of the theme’s implications for professionals in the city of Cleveland. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This event is included as part of YAAM’s Mentorship series and WIA+’s NeXXt Vid series. Attendees from all backgrounds and career levels are encouraged to attend!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with others & talk about how we can become better co-workers, leaders, and people.
